Hamas announced this evening the reaching of a comprehensive agreement to end the war on Gaza, including the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces, the entry of humanitarian aid, and the exchange of prisoners between the two sides.

The movement stated in an official statement: “We announce the reaching of an agreement that achieves a final ceasefire on the aggression against our people in Gaza, including the withdrawal of occupation forces, ensuring the entry of humanitarian aid, and starting the exchange of prisoners.”

Hamas appreciated “the significant efforts made by mediators in Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, as well as former US President Donald Trump, in ending the war and achieving calm.”

At the end of its statement, the movement called: “We call on President Trump, the guarantor states, and the Arab and Islamic parties to obligate the occupation to fully implement the agreement without delay.”
