Ashraf Al-Moqaddem: President Sisi is keen on protecting peoples from the ravages of conflict
Ashraf Al-Moqaddem, head of Egypt’s People’s Party, praised the historic stance embodied by the Egyptian leadership under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in reaching the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement to stop the war in Gaza, affirming that this achievement reflects Egypt’s steady and pivotal role as a “guarantor of peace” and a pillar of stability in the region.
Al-Moqaddem said in a statement that President Sisi’s words after reaching the agreement, that “the world witnessed a moment of victory of the will of peace over the logic of war,” honestly express President Sisi’s efforts and the essence of Egyptian policy based on prioritizing reason, dialogue, and protecting peoples from the ravages of conflict.
The head of the People’s Party pointed out that the Egyptian state, from the land of peace Sharm El-Sheikh, has once again proven its ability to bring conflicting parties under one umbrella and turn pain into hope, within a balanced peace plan achieving regional security.
He affirmed that this agreement is not just the end of a war, but the beginning of a new phase that enhances Egypt’s leadership role in peace-making and protecting the stability of the Middle East, praising the Qatari-American-Turkish cooperation in stopping the war in Gaza.
