The Border Guard patrols in the Al-Raboua sector in the Asir region arrested three violators of the border security system of Ethiopian nationality for smuggling 60 kilograms of the narcotic plant Qat. Initial legal procedures were completed against them, and they along with the seized materials were handed over to the competent authorities.
The security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to smuggling or trafficking of drugs by calling (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province, and (999) and (994) in other regions of the Kingdom, as well as the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline (995), or via email (Email: [email protected]). All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality and without any liability on the informant.
