Salam Barrak emphasized the necessity of the American side fulfilling its responsibility by pressuring Israel to stop hostile actions, withdraw from the five southern points, and release prisoners. Official sources told Al-Bayan that the American envoys received a clear and final stance that the Lebanese Cabinet has prioritized extending state authority and restricting weapons to its hands. The Lebanese army was tasked with preparing a comprehensive plan to implement this exclusivity, including field and security arrangements aimed at gradually controlling the existing situation, with the Presidency confirming that implementation will be accompanied by ongoing internal political communication to avoid any instability.
