The department emphasized the importance of healthy sleep by resetting children’s sleep routines and encouraging early bedtime, ensuring light school bags to protect their spines, preparing healthy and balanced meals free from allergens, and avoiding fried foods and sugary drinks. They also stressed securing seat belts and educating children on school bus safety, encouraging physical activity and sports for healthy growth, and active participation through cooperation with schools to support learning and development.
Safety and organizational requirements were ensured, including licensing school buses in cooperation with the Roads and Transport Authority to meet approved standards, alongside coordination with Sharjah Police General Command to regulate traffic around schools, enhancing student safety during boarding and alighting.
Schools organized welcoming programs featuring entertaining and educational segments, group games, drawing and coloring corners, and guided tours of school facilities to foster a sense of belonging and reassurance among children.
School administrations developed comprehensive plans to welcome students, focusing on all details ensuring their comfort and safety, from organizing entry and exit flows, preparing classrooms to provide an encouraging learning environment, to focusing on the quality of services provided within the school.
According to health and safety procedures approved by Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, schools prepared comprehensive plans for educational and extracurricular activities that enhance students’ personalities and support their creative and social skills, contributing to building a confident generation capable of effective participation in development.
Warning signs around schools were prepared to prevent accidents and ensure smooth traffic flow, reflecting Fujairah Police’s commitment to protecting lives and ensuring a safe educational environment that contributes to academic achievements.
Police officers’ efforts to overcome difficulties and find solutions to prevent traffic congestion were praised, including the use of drones linked directly to the operations room to identify congestion points near educational institutions and guide patrols to maintain traffic flow.
Schools allocated sections for registration and welcoming new students, adding seven new classes this academic year in response to increasing student numbers.
Parents expressed their satisfaction with the smooth start of the new semester, appreciating the efforts of educational and administrative staff in creating a suitable atmosphere, affirming that precise organization and continuous communication between schools and parents enhance their confidence in the emirate’s educational system.
