Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, attended on Monday evening the reception hosted by Zhang Biming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

The event was also attended by senior state officials, high-ranking military officers, heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the UAE, as well as Chinese businessmen and members of the Chinese community residing in the country.

Ambassador Zhang Biming praised the wise policies of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, affirming his country’s continuous efforts to develop bilateral relations and open new horizons for cooperation and joint work between the two friendly countries.

He stated that diplomatic relations between the two countries are strengthening at all levels, and that the UAE is a strategic partner for China in the region. (WAM)
