Today, Wednesday, the Vice President of the National Council for Future Technology, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Engineer Sami Samirate, and the Chief Technology Officer of the World Economic Forum, Stefan Morgenthaler, signed an agreement to launch the Jordan Future Knowledge Platform, on the sidelines of Future Forum 2025 held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and organized by the National Council for Future Technology.

The platform is a driver of innovation and impact and a strategic tool supporting the working teams of the National Council for Future Technology. It provides a collaborative space between public sector institutions to anticipate global technological trends, formulate innovative and executable projects, and enhance communication among Jordanian experts inside and outside the country.

The platform enables networking with a global network of experts and provides real-time information covering more than 25 vital sectors including artificial intelligence, digital economy, sustainable development, and education.

The National Council for Future Technology, in cooperation with the World Economic Forum and other government entities, conducted a comprehensive consultation process to identify knowledge gaps and prioritize cooperation. This process resulted in an integrated framework to monitor drivers of change and map available opportunities in the Jordanian technological landscape.

The official launch of the platform at Future Forum includes introductory sessions for government sector stakeholders about its mechanisms and capabilities in monitoring trends, scenario building, and developing participatory policies.

Cooperation will continue between the National Council for Future Technology, the World Economic Forum, the Jordan Source project, and the Youth and Jobs project to develop the platform in line with national priorities and user feedback to ensure its sustainability.
