Under the direct supervision of the Fayoum Social Solidarity Directorate, Orman Association has successfully conducted 12,000 eye surgeries since its inception, supporting vulnerable patients in line with the directives of Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Governor of Fayoum. Dr. Sherine Fathy, Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity in Fayoum, emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among civil society organizations to meet citizens’ needs and improve living standards, following President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s guidance.

Additionally, the Social Solidarity Directorate supervised the delivery of 9,410 heads of livestock over previous years, providing full nutrition, feed, insurance, and medical follow-up to ensure sustainable income for beneficiary families. The selection of beneficiaries was coordinated with local authorities and veterinary services.

Orman Association has also performed 15 free open-heart surgeries and catheterizations for underprivileged patients in Fayoum, raising the total beneficiaries to 5,188 since the start of their cardiac surgery program. These efforts are part of a continuous collaboration with Fayoum Governorate to alleviate suffering and support vulnerable groups.

The association also provides small and micro-project support for widows and poor families, medical treatment and medication for heart and eye patients, and distributes direct aid such as blankets and meat. Furthermore, 35 assistive devices and hearing aids were distributed to people with disabilities, supporting their integration and independence.
