The Directorate of Education in the Red Sea announced on Tuesday that its students have won top positions in art competitions at the national level.

First Place in Artistic Photography

Students Ruqayya Essam Rashidi and Menna Maher Farouk from Mohamed El-Tayeb Official Distinguished Language School in the Hurghada Educational Administration secured first place nationally in the artistic photography competition.

Advanced Positions

Additionally, Al-Nasr Primary School in the El Quseir Educational Administration achieved a double accomplishment by winning fifth place in the Capacity Building and Creatives competition and eighth place in the Artistic Crafts and Sculpture competition.

Dedication of Achievement and Governor’s Support

Faiza Ahmed, Director of the Red Sea Education Directorate, extended sincere congratulations to the winning students and school, noting that this achievement reflects excellence and creativity in the governorate’s schools. This comes under the directives of Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education. She dedicated this success to Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, appreciating his role as the “primary supporter of the education sector” and his unlimited efforts and keenness to provide a supportive educational environment for young talents.

She also congratulated the team that supported the students and contributed to this success, including Mohamed Moslem, Executive Affairs Director; Amal Sobhy, General Supervisor of Art Education; Gamal Saeed, Senior Art Supervisor; the directors of the educational administrations in Hurghada and El Quseir; and the art education supervisors and teachers at the two winning schools.

The director confirmed that this victory represents a strong incentive to continue supporting talented students, emphasizing that the directorate pays great attention to developing students’ skills to present exemplary models representing the governorate in all local, national, and international forums and competitions.
