Tatmeen Saudi participated in the International Facility Management Conference and Exhibition 2025, affirming its presence as the investment and operational arm of King Abdulaziz University, continuing to strengthen its leadership position in managing, operating, and maintaining facilities according to the latest global standards and best professional practices.
Eng. Ammar Makawi, the company’s CEO, stated that the participation represented an important opportunity to connect with local and international partners, exchange expertise, and build strategic partnerships supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals. He added that the company showcased several of its distinguished projects in operating and maintaining government and private facilities, alongside ship maintenance services that have become national success stories cherished by the team.
Makawi revealed the signing of three strategic memorandums of understanding; the first with EFSIM Facility Management, the second with Digital Solutions, and the third with Olat Development (OPM). These agreements cover maintenance and operations, facility management, ship management, and administrative consulting, within an organized framework that does not entail financial commitments except upon signing subsequent independent contracts.
He pointed out that linking the agreements to Tatmeen’s current and future projects—such as managing and maintaining university facilities and real estate and operational projects—gives them direct practical value and enhances their sustainability. Makawi considered these partnerships a strategic step toward expanding the partner base, enhancing competitive capabilities, and opening new fields in ship management and consulting services.
He confirmed that Tatmeen Saudi’s message through participation and signing agreements is a commitment to the spirit of partnership and institutional integration, emphasizing that cooperation with local and international expertise houses contributes to improving service efficiency and enhancing sustainability, alongside driving national development through quality projects like “Manarat Al-Ma’arifa” that align with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.
Makawi explained that the company’s most prominent current projects include the “Manarat Al-Ma’arifa” project affiliated with Wadi Jeddah Company, an integrated urban and knowledge project aimed at creating an advanced educational and community investment environment according to the highest global standards, in addition to the company’s continued operation and maintenance of university facilities and government and private establishments, as well as expanding ship maintenance services representing an important dimension in the company’s entry into the maritime sector.
