The myth of Greater Israel and the promised land of the fathers has become an ideology of extremism threatening the world, led by religious Zionism and far-right governments, a doctrine believed by Netanyahu. This means we face the danger of conflicts and wars that will not be limited geographically or regionally, wars ignited by what some call the “Republic or Colony of the Rabbis” and the Zionist foundations it adopts, spreading in a world already suffering from wars and economic hardships, increasing anxiety and tension.

Netanyahu’s statements about the so-called Greater Israel confirm to the world that it is dealing with a right-wing government bound by inherited myths and plans, not a government committed to the principles and rules of international diplomacy, international law, and the UN Charter based on peace and global security. These repeated statements by Israeli officials have become a declared culture of escalation in the region, adopted by Israeli governments for decades. It is no secret that Netanyahu and his extremist government face internal criticism and global discontent, especially after the brutal aggression, extermination, and ongoing starvation in Gaza, under the false pretense of achieving security for the settlements. He also tries to divert international attention from the dangers of his annexation strategy and tightening the grip on the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and the killing of the two-state solution.

All this has made such hollow statements an escape route for him amid threats of corruption trials in Israel and later failure in Gaza, as well as international arrest warrants issued against him by the International Criminal Court. He also attempts to win over the camp of rabbis adhering to the false Talmudic mythical heritage, a camp protesting compulsory military service. These statements also aim to appease extremist settlers and religious Jewish Zionism, which he tries to build new settlements for in what he calls “Judea and Samaria.”

The Royal Committee for Jerusalem Affairs clarifies to the public opinion that the history of the authentic Arab countries in the region, deeply rooted in human civilization, has immortal records of expelling invaders and transient intruders sooner or later. It also possesses a cultural, moral heritage and popular and official national will, and pages of heroism scented with the blood of martyrs in occupied Palestine. Its sovereignty, identity, and existence cannot be affected by hollow statements made by some. We are authentic regional countries managing their international relations by international law, charters, commitments, and widely agreed international customs, unlike the empty, arrogant propaganda speeches issued by the Israeli occupation government.

The Royal Committee for Jerusalem Affairs confirms that true stability and peace, understood by the peoples and governments of the region and the world, begin with ending the occupation, eliminating the culture of evil and hatred, stopping all forms of Israeli violations, raids, confiscations, extermination, displacement, and starvation in Gaza. These statements are a warning to the world and a call for the immediate cessation of the extermination war in Gaza and obliging Israel to international legitimacy, not the law of the jungle. The world powers must choose between double standards, encouraging and supporting colonialism, or choosing a just peace policy based on historical rights and punishing all violators of international law, foremost among them the occupying state.

Jordan will remain a people and a Hashemite leadership historically entrusted with guardianship over Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, steadfast in its sovereignty and strong Hashemite fortress, defending and supporting the people of historic Palestine from the sea to the river, regardless of the cost and sacrifices made.
