US President Donald Trump accused Chinese President Xi Jinping of “conspiring” with Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un against the United States, on the sidelines of their participation in a massive military parade in Beijing marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
Trump wrote on his platform “Truth Social”: “I wish President Xi and the people of China a wonderful day of celebrations… Send my regards to Putin and Kim while you conspire against America.”
Meanwhile, the Chinese president said in his speech that “the rise of the Chinese nation is unstoppable,” calling for the elimination of the causes of wars and the enhancement of shared security among nations.
He added, “Shared security can only be guaranteed when countries treat each other equally, live in harmony, and support one another.”
The massive military parade was attended by more than 20 world leaders, including notably Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
