Trump told reporters, “I negotiated the Abraham Accords and my plan is to expand them, and Iran may join.”
He added, “Iran joining the Abraham Accords would be a great thing.”
Trump emphasized, “I told you, I bet you, that Iran will be a partner in the agreements at some point. I did not expect it to take this direction. This was the direction we took with B-2 planes. But I think it could be there.”
Trump added, “I think it would be great economically for them if Iran joins the Abraham Accords.”
He continued, “I withdrew from the terrible Iranian nuclear deal imposed by Obama and Biden on Israel.”
Trump concluded, “We destroyed Iran’s ability to enrich uranium, Israel’s enemies have diminished, and we are getting closer to real peace.”
Trump had stated that Monday could be the greatest day in the history of civilizations, stressing that “Today is a historic day for peace and we are working on a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, not just Gaza.”
