Trump: We will establish an international supervisory body chaired by me, led by the United States at the request of Israel and Arab countries.

A joint press conference was held between US President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Trump said: The time for peace has come. Today is a historic day for peace as Netanyahu and I have reached an agreement to expand the Abraham Accords and regarding Iran.

He continued: I thank the proposals from Arab and Islamic countries and European allies to develop the current peace proposal. I thank Netanyahu for agreeing to this plan that will open a new chapter of prosperity for the region. We are very close to reaching a peace agreement regarding the Gaza Strip.

He added: Netanyahu agreed to the peace proposal and ending the war. Under this plan, Arab and Islamic countries pledged to disarm the Gaza Strip, and if Hamas agrees to release all hostages according to the proposal, it will mean the end of the war itself.

He said: We will establish an international supervisory body chaired by me, led by the United States at the request of Israel and Arab countries.

Trump continued, saying Netanyahu has his “full support” in the Gaza war if Hamas rejects the plan. He said Hamas has not agreed to his plan but he hopes they will.

He added: Netanyahu’s position is clear in opposing the establishment of a Palestinian state. The new government will consist of Palestinians and experts from around the world.

He continued: I hope Iran becomes part of the Abraham Accords because that will benefit it. Israel will coexist with its neighbors, and the “Abraham Accords” will achieve better communication among these countries.
