The Freedom Road Alliance, composed of the Conservative Party and the Constitution Party, announced the formation of a central operations room to monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections and support the alliance’s candidates.

Talat Khalil, member of the Conservative Party’s presidential council, stated that the party is currently monitoring its candidates and the constituencies selected for competition, having submitted about 7 candidates so far, with plans to field 20 candidates in total.

Notable Conservative candidates include Ihab El-Khouly for the Imbaba district, Ahmed Sadiq for Edfu in Aswan, Lamis Khattab for Qasr El Nile, Habib Adel for Oseem in Giza, Magdy Hamdan for Bulaq El Dakrour in Giza, and Talat Khalil himself for the Suez district.

Khalil explained that the electoral coordination between the Constitution and Conservative parties is based on not fielding candidates from the alliance in the same district, unifying campaign banners, and establishing a central operations room to follow the electoral process.

Islam Abulila, treasurer of the Constitution Party and head of the elections file, said the party intends to field 15 candidates for the individual seats and plans to submit all candidacies on the same day, likely next Sunday.

Among the prominent Constitution candidates are Dr. Mahmoud El-Melwany, head of the party’s political office, and Gamila Ismail, the party’s president, who is still considering her candidacy.

Abulila added that most Constitution candidates have undergone medical examinations and that party leadership is closely following and supporting the candidates.

The Freedom Road Alliance was launched last September, aiming to rebuild the relationship between citizens and the state based on transparency, conscious political participation, justice, national dignity, and the rule of law through freely and fairly elected representatives.
