Russian President Vladimir Putin responded on Wednesday to remarks made by his American counterpart Donald Trump regarding an “alliance” between Russia, China, and North Korea against Washington, saying that Trump “has a sense of humor.”

Putin stated during a press conference at the end of a four-day official visit to China: “The President of the United States has a sense of humor, that is clear, and we all know that well.”

He referred to the close relationship he shares with the American president, saying: “I have good relations with him (Trump).”

Putin added, referring to the invitation he extended to the American president to visit Moscow during the Alaska summit: “The invitation is still on the table.”

Earlier on Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump accused Russia, China, and North Korea of plotting a “conspiracy” against the United States in response to a military parade in Beijing.

The remarks coincided with the participation of Putin and Kim Jong Un, alongside other heads of state, in Victory Day celebrations.

The presidents of Russia and North Korea attended a military parade at Tiananmen Square and an official reception at the Great Hall of the People.
