Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he has established a good relationship with US President Donald Trump, noting that they spoke in English while riding in a limousine in Alaska.

Putin told reporters, “A good relationship has formed between me and him (Trump).”

In response to a question about the language spoken by the leaders of Russia and the United States in the limousine in Anchorage, Putin said, “We spoke, of course, in English, but it was broken English, partly what vocabulary I still have.”

It is worth noting that the presidents of Russia and the United States discussed ways to resolve the Ukrainian conflict during their meeting in Alaska on August 15. Both leaders described the meeting positively.

President Putin made a visit to China from August 31 to September 3. He also participated in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and held a series of bilateral meetings on its sidelines. In the capital Beijing, a trilateral meeting was held between Russia, China, and Mongolia, and Putin held bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

On September 3, a large military parade was held in Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japanese militarism and the end of World War II, attended by the Russian president and other world leaders.
