Israeli far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir warned on Thursday that the Jewish Power party, to which he belongs, will seek to topple Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government unless Hamas is ultimately dismantled.

Ben Gvir said in a statement ahead of Netanyahu’s government meeting to approve a ceasefire plan in Gaza and release detainees, “If the Hamas government is not dismantled, or if they merely claim it is dismantled while it actually remains intact under a different guise, the Jewish Power party will topple the government.”
