The US police reported the day before yesterday that thieves in Seattle escaped with an estimated two million dollars worth of diamonds, luxury watches, gold, and more in a bold midday robbery at a jewelry store in less than 90 seconds. Surveillance footage showed four masked suspects smashing the locked glass front door with hammers and looting six display cases last Thursday. One display case contained Rolex watches valued at $750,000. One suspect threatened workers with bear spray and a stun gun, but no one was injured. Josh Menash, the store’s vice president, said, “We were shocked as employees. We will close for a while,” adding that workers finished cleaning the broken glass and are counting losses.
