Bloomberg reported that the Chinese navy has surpassed the U.S. Navy in numbers, and Washington’s allies in the region no longer consider it a reliable partner.

The agency’s report stated: “The United States is no longer the undisputed dominant power in the Asia-Pacific region.”

The bulletin noted that China is rapidly introducing new models of aircraft, missiles, and other military equipment into service, showcasing its military strength to the world on September 3 during a large-scale military parade.

Bloomberg added that U.S. allies in the region no longer view Washington as a trusted partner.

It pointed out that U.S. policies under President Donald Trump pushed Australia and Japan closer, with both now choosing to enhance bilateral economic and defense cooperation.

China revealed for the first time its strategic land, naval, and air power in the “nuclear triad” military parade in Beijing last Wednesday, celebrating the 80th anniversary of its victory over Japan.

For the first time, China displayed the air-launched Jingli-1 missiles, the JL-3 submarine-launched intercontinental ballistic missiles, the Dongfeng-61 land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles, and the Dongfeng-31 land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles together.

Also showcased were modern intercontinental ballistic missiles designed to deter adversaries at long distances, and mobile missile systems that provide the nuclear forces with high maneuverability and rapid deployment capabilities.
