Dar Global has unveiled the “Trump Plaza Jeddah” project valued at $1 billion in partnership with the Trump Organization, marking their second collaboration in the city after the “Trump Tower Jeddah.”

The Saudi real estate developer Dar Global announced a new $1 billion project in Jeddah in partnership with the Trump Organization. The project, named “Trump Plaza Jeddah,” is the second collaboration between the two parties in the coastal city following the launch of “Trump Tower Jeddah” last year.

Dar Global, a luxury real estate developer listed on the London Stock Exchange, stated that “Trump Plaza Jeddah” will be built along King Abdulaziz Road in the heart of the city, featuring a green strip inspired by Central Park to bring the vibrant Manhattan atmosphere to Jeddah.

The project will transform the city’s skyline with a mix of luxury residences, serviced apartments, premium office spaces, and exclusive townhouses. According to the company, the project is designed to redefine urban living in Saudi Arabia by combining living, working, and entertainment in one integrated destination.

“Trump Plaza Jeddah” is the second project to carry the Trump brand in Saudi Arabia after “Trump Tower Jeddah,” which was launched in December last year. The Trump Organization had previously licensed hotel and residential projects in several countries including Canada, Dubai, Mexico, India, and Turkey before Donald Trump entered the White House in 2017.

However, Trump’s close ties with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have sparked widespread controversy, especially after the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018, who wrote critical articles about the royal family in The Washington Post.

Commenting on the project, Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, said: “This project embodies our vision of excellence through blending global hospitality, modern living, and dynamic business environments.” He added, “Together with Dar Global, we are creating a destination that will set a new standard for innovation in the Kingdom.”

Dar Global is the international arm of Dar Al Arkan, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading real estate developers. It states that it manages projects worth $7.5 billion across several countries including the UAE, Oman, Qatar, the UK, Spain, and Saudi Arabia itself.

This expansion places it among the international players in luxury real estate development and reflects its ambition to enhance its global presence.
