Greater Manchester Police announced on Thursday the death of the suspect who carried out the attack on a Jewish synagogue, after being shot by armed officers.
British broadcaster Sky News reported in its English bulletin that two of the victims died as a result of the attack, while three others remain in critical condition.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is scheduled to chair an emergency meeting of the National Emergency Response Committee (COBRA) later today upon his return to the UK, having been visiting Denmark to attend a European Union meeting.
