Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, announced that an international summit titled “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit” for ending the war in Gaza will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh on Monday afternoon. The summit will be co-chaired by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump, with participation from leaders of more than twenty countries from around the world.

El-Shenawy explained that the summit aims to end the war in the Gaza Strip and enhance efforts to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East, contributing to opening a new chapter of regional security and stability.

The official spokesperson pointed out that the summit is held in light of the vision presented by U.S. President Donald Trump to establish peace in the region and his keen efforts to end armed conflicts worldwide. He emphasized that Egypt’s hosting of the summit in Sharm El-Sheikh – the land of peace – reflects its pivotal position and active role in supporting regional and international peace efforts.
