Biostat India Limited, a global producer of agricultural bio-stimulants, announced the establishment of a modern manufacturing facility in the Halila Industrial Area under RAK Free Trade Zone.

The lease agreement for the new factory, covering an area of 100,000 square feet, was signed in the presence of Anas Hijazi, Head of Commercial Sector at RAK Free Trade Zone, and Jozar Korakiwala, Chairman and Managing Director of Biostat Group.

The factory is scheduled to start operations in July 2026 and will also provide advanced technical job opportunities in Ras Al Khaimah. This project marks the company’s third international expansion after the Philippines and Vietnam.

Sustainable Agriculture

Hudhaifa Korakiwala, CEO and Managing Director of Biostat India Limited, said: “This strategic expansion is a significant milestone for our entry into the Middle East and African markets and reinforces our mission to promote chemical-free sustainable agriculture. By leveraging the benefits of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and India, we look forward to contributing to establishing the UAE as a key hub for exporting innovative agricultural inputs to emerging markets.”

He added: “RAK Free Trade Zone has provided us with an integrated and favorable investment environment to expand our international operations. Its advanced infrastructure was a key factor in our decision, alongside the continuous support provided by its team during the establishment phases, which helped complete the setup process efficiently and smoothly. Introducing technology-based agricultural solutions within this environment is an important step towards enhancing sustainable food production.”
