Two violent explosions shook the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, early Sunday following an airstrike believed to be carried out by Israeli aircraft. Local residents told the German Press Agency (DPA) that the explosions targeted the Hazeez power station located south of the city. Flames were seen rising from the targeted site, with no further information available. Houthi media reported that Israeli strikes hit power stations in the capital, causing a temporary electricity outage. This incident follows a cautious calm that had prevailed in Sanaa for over a month. Previously, the city experienced violent explosions from air raids conducted by the United States and Israel targeting various sites of the Iran-allied group, in response to Houthi attacks on Israel and commercial ships in the Red Sea.
