The Second Terrorism Circuit, headed by Judge Wagdy Abdel Moneim, is presiding today over the trial of 71 accused in the Tagammu cell, case number 12925 of 2025, Fifth Settlement Criminal Court.
The session is chaired by Judge Wagdy Abdel Moneim with members Judges Wael Omran and Diaa Amer, and secretary Mohamed Hilal.
All defendants are charged with joining a terrorist group established illegally that uses force, violence, threats, and intimidation, aiming to disrupt public order, endanger community safety, interests, and security, obstruct constitutional and legal provisions, prevent state institutions from performing their duties, violate citizens’ personal freedoms, and harm social peace.
The first defendant and others are also charged with financing terrorism, with the funding directed to a terrorist group.
