The National Election Authority, headed by Judge Hazem Badawi, Vice President of the Court of Cassation, has completed all necessary preparations and arrangements for the parliamentary elections procedures, concurrently with the runoff round of the 2025 Senate elections. The timetable for the parliamentary elections has not yet been determined and will be announced after the runoff round concludes. The authority plans to hold a press conference to announce all preparations and the election timetable after the official announcement of the Senate election results, scheduled for September 4, 2025. Overseas voting will take place in 136 embassies and consulates across 117 countries, as well as 8,286 polling stations including schools, health units, and youth centers, supervised judicially by the Administrative Prosecution and State Litigation Authority with the participation of 9,500 judges. Additionally, 18 embassies inside Egypt, 9 international organizations, 58 local organizations and associations, 168 international media outlets, and 62 local media outlets will monitor the elections.
