The Public Prosecution in Minya, under the supervision of the First Attorney General of South Minya Prosecutions, decided to investigate the accusation against a young man in one of the villages of the district for killing his brother. The prosecution requested the Criminal Investigation Department to investigate the incident, its circumstances, and details.

The prosecution also assigned forensic experts to perform an autopsy to examine the injuries and determine the true cause of death.

Major General Hatem Hassan, Assistant Minister of Interior for Minya Security, received a report from Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed El-Ashiry, head of Minya Investigation Department, stating that an altercation between two brothers resulted in the death of one of them in one of the district’s villages.

Security forces immediately moved to the scene, and investigations revealed that a young man stabbed his brother with a knife.

The body was transferred to the morgue of Minya University Hospital under the disposal of the Public Prosecution, which ordered a forensic examination to determine the causes and circumstances of death.

The necessary report was filed, legal procedures were taken, and the competent authorities were notified to carry out investigations, hear eyewitness testimonies, and question the family to fully uncover the incident’s details.
