MP Mohamed El-Badry, member of the Health Committee in the Senate and Secretary of the National Front Party in Minya, affirmed that the success of the Egyptian mediation in reaching a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, with the participation of Qatar, reflects the exceptional status enjoyed by Egyptian diplomacy under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the region’s foremost man of peace, and its ability to manage the most dangerous regional files with a balanced methodology and historic responsibility.

El-Badry explained in a statement today that the agreement reached in Sharm El-Sheikh is not merely a political step but a strategic shift in the course of the conflict in the region, reaffirming that Cairo is the only Arab capital capable of bringing conflicting parties to the same table and reaching realistic solutions that save lives and pave the way for sustainable peace.

He pointed out that this success came as a result of complex diplomatic moves and high-level contacts Egypt conducted with regional and international powers, from Washington to Doha, and from Tel Aviv to European capitals, culminating in a balanced formula that considers the humanitarian, political, and security dimensions simultaneously.

He stressed that Egypt did not deal with the crisis as a neutral mediator but as a pillar of regional stability and the beating heart of Arabism, affirming that President El-Sisi redefined the concept of diplomatic mediation not as a temporary deal but as a humanitarian message aimed at saving peoples and protecting Arab national security. He confirmed that the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement is not the end of the crisis but the beginning of a new path of joint Arab action led by Egypt with confidence, awareness, and determination that just peace is the only way to end the cycle of conflicts and build a more stable and humane Middle East.
