The National Charter Party organized a dialogue meeting in Mafraq Governorate titled “Challenges and Solutions,” attended by a number of party, political, media, social, and youth figures.
Dr. Yaqub Nasser Al-Din, Chairman of the Party’s Central Council, affirmed that Mafraq is one of the governorates that embrace diversity and reflect the spirit of a unifying state. He reviewed the main challenges facing the governorate and proposed solutions, including agricultural challenges, climate diversity, and rising costs. He emphasized the importance of introducing modern agricultural technology in irrigation systems, solar energy, and greenhouse farming, as well as encouraging agriculture linked to industry by connecting agricultural production with food, feed, and national medicine factories.
Dr. Nasser Al-Din added that these field tours aim to explain the party’s strategy, listen to the attendees, interact with them through democratic dialogue, collect all observations, and raise them through the party’s political and media channels.
He reviewed many challenges facing the governorate, including agricultural, industrial, commercial, social, regional development, and environmental challenges, and presented practical solutions based on points raised and explained before the attendees to be conveyed to the concerned authorities.
Meanwhile, Obaid Yassin, Acting Secretary-General of the party, said that the National Charter places the kingdom’s governorates and their priorities at the core of its concerns. He explained that the political bureau will work to implement these visions and initiatives within the National Charter Party’s strategy in Mafraq through a practical vision already initiated by holding events supporting agriculture, livestock, tourism, and empowering women and youth through the party’s administrative bodies in the governorate.
Yassin added that the political bureau, through the National Charter parliamentary bloc, which is currently the largest parliamentary bloc representing the party, has worked on raising all recommendations issued by the executive committees of the political bureau. These will be discussed through parliamentary committees with ministries and state institutions to make them applicable, ensuring the implementation of the party’s program and strategy in a systematic, programmatic, and practical manner.
In a speech delivered by MP Omar Al-Khalidi, member of the National Charter parliamentary bloc, he emphasized the importance of direct dialogue with citizens and listening to their concerns and aspirations. He stressed that addressing social challenges requires active participation from everyone and continuous monitoring of the implementation of solutions. He added that the party’s doors are open to citizens to submit their proposals and ideas, affirming that joint work is the best way to achieve sustainable solutions in Mafraq and other governorates.
Hazem Al-Rahahleh, Head of the Media and Events Unit in the National Charter Party, reviewed the unit’s role as a bridge linking the party’s vision with its audience. He explained that the unit works to unify the party’s media discourse, highlight success stories in the governorates, and enhance community and interactive media through digital platforms, workshops, and dialogue meetings. Al-Rahahleh added that the unit focuses on internal communication to strengthen cohesion within the party, training teams on party media skills and event management across various governorates.
The event witnessed an extensive interactive dialogue discussing the National Charter Party’s strategy. Attendees raised questions and interventions about the mechanisms for implementing the strategy and its programs in Mafraq city, in addition to inquiries about the party’s founding, program, and main achievements. Party leaders answered all raised points during the discussion.
This meeting is part of a series of meetings held by the National Charter Party in the governorates to present the party’s general strategy, programs, and initiatives, aiming to enhance political participation and develop community interaction.
