On Monday, the city of Sharm El-Sheikh hosted a global peace summit chaired by Presidents Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Donald Trump, marking a ceasefire in the Gaza war after two years of unprecedented conflict that resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and widespread destruction in the Gaza Strip.
