The Cairo International Airport Customs Authority, headed by Majid Mousa, Chief of the Central Administration, and the General Administration of Passenger Customs at Building No. 2, succeeded in issuing several seizure reports over the past few days.
A customs seizure report No. 91 for the year 2025 was issued against an Egyptian female passenger found with electronic hookah bottles containing marijuana oil. Another seizure report No. 92 was issued against an Egyptian male passenger found with drugs and white weapons.
Customs also reported the seizure of a foreign passenger carrying seven bottles of narcotics, and an Egyptian passenger attempting to smuggle 493 cosmetic product bottles.
In the same context, a report was issued against a foreign passenger carrying 27 marijuana seeds, 8 white weapons, a knuckle duster, and field glasses.
Seizure reports were also issued against a foreign passenger carrying 28 bottles containing various drugs, and against a passenger attempting to smuggle 1083 cosmetic product bottles.
Additionally, a foreign passenger was caught trying to smuggle 4,000 tattoo needles.
