Major General Dr. Obeidallah Al-Maaytah, Director of Public Security, affirmed the significant role played by the Gendarmerie Forces in supporting the units and formations of the Public Security Directorate, praising their high readiness and professionalism in efficiently and competently carrying out their assigned tasks.

During his visit today, Sunday, to the Gendarmerie Forces Command and his meeting with commanders, officers, and non-commissioned officers, Major General Al-Maaytah conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Majesty’s pride in their sincere efforts in performing their duties.

He indicated that the Public Security Directorate will continue to support the Gendarmerie Forces with all capabilities, including vehicles, equipment, and human resources, to advance their capabilities and enable their personnel to perform their duties according to the highest professional standards.

The Director of Public Security expressed his appreciation for the pivotal roles played by the Gendarmerie Forces in maintaining security, public order, and law enforcement, emphasizing the importance of ongoing coordination and integration among the various units and formations of the Public Security Directorate, and supporting state institutions in enhancing services provided to citizens.

Major General Al-Maaytah praised the distinguished role demonstrated by the Gendarmerie Forces during various demonstrations and marches, where they exemplified law enforcement with integrity and justice, within a framework of respect for human rights, which strengthened the great trust they enjoy among citizens and contributed to establishing an outstanding level of community security partnership.

He called for taking all necessary measures and preparations for the winter season and supporting civil defense personnel in providing humanitarian services and rescue operations during weather conditions and various incidents.

He pointed out that the Public Security Directorate, with its various units and formations, will remain worthy of the trust of the leader and the nation, under the continuous support it receives from the wise Hashemite leadership of the military and security apparatuses.
