The Kremlin announced on Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani agreed in a phone call to postpone the Russian-Arab summit.
The Kremlin stated, “Due to the launch of the active phase of US President Donald Trump’s plan to restore normalcy in the Gaza Strip, Vladimir Putin and Mohammed Al Sudani agreed that it would be difficult for many invited Arab leaders to attend in person in Moscow under these circumstances.”
The summit was originally scheduled to be held in Moscow on October 15.
