Silver prices reached a record high in spot trading on Wednesday, following gold’s rise, which also hit an all-time high earlier in the session, surpassing $4,000 per ounce.
The spot price of silver reached $49.54 per ounce, up 3.5 percent by 1611 GMT. (Reuters)
