Air Arabia has received its first Airbus A320neo aircraft, marking the beginning of fulfilling its order of 120 aircraft from the A320 family, signed with Airbus in 2019.

The company welcomed the aircraft at a special ceremony held at Sharjah Airport, attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of Air Arabia, Sheikh Khalid bin Issam Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Department, Ali Al Madfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, and Adel Al Ali, CEO of Air Arabia Group.

Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani said: “Receiving the aircraft is an important step towards enhancing the company’s current fleet and developing its operational processes. The addition of these modern aircraft reflects our continuous commitment to operational efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.” The aircraft is scheduled to enter service on October 1 with its inaugural flight to Bangkok.
