The General Authority for Meteorology expects that on Thursday, October 9, temperatures will drop across most areas. Early morning will see mild autumn weather, becoming warm during the day in most regions, hot in the south of the country, and moderate at night.

There will be morning fog from 4 to 8 AM on some roads leading to and from areas from northern Egypt to Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, Canal cities, and central Sinai.

The Meteorological Authority also expects light to moderate rain showers intermittently on parts of the northern coasts and northern Delta, with weak chances of light rain in scattered areas of southern Delta.

Wind activity is also expected in some areas, causing rough sea navigation on some coasts including Matrouh, Alamein, Alexandria, Port Said, Beheira, Kafr El Sheikh, and Damietta, with wind speeds between 40 and 50 km/h and wave heights between 2 and 3 meters.
