The Busra al-Sham humanitarian corridor in eastern Daraa countryside is witnessing active commercial and humanitarian movement, as a new humanitarian aid convoy entered As-Suwayda Governorate on Saturday morning, coinciding with the passage of dozens of commercial trucks loaded with basic materials and food supplies. The twelfth humanitarian convoy included 11 trucks, 6 of which belong to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and 5 commercial trucks, carrying about 200 tons of flour and 900 kilograms of salt to secure the needs of bakeries and ensure the stable availability of bread for the residents. A security source at the corridor told SANA correspondent that all trucks undergo strict inspection procedures to ensure the safety of goods and prevent smuggling of any prohibited or banned materials, noting that the process is smooth without obstacles, within the framework of ongoing government efforts to support residents in facing living and humanitarian challenges.
This activity comes amid improved security conditions and the reopening of the corridor after a temporary closure, which contributed to enhancing the flow of food supplies and aid to local markets in As-Suwayda, amid continuous coordination between government bodies and humanitarian organizations to ensure the continuity of support.
