The Palestinian Authority welcomed late Monday/Tuesday the plan of U.S. President Donald Trump to end the war between Israel and Hamas, pledging to undertake the reforms required by the United States.
The Palestinian government stated its desire to establish a modern, democratic, and demilitarized Palestinian state committed to pluralism and peaceful transfer of power.
It pledged to implement a curriculum development program according to UNESCO standards within two years, cancel laws and regulations that provide payments to families of prisoners and martyrs, and establish a unified social welfare system subject to international auditing.
