The two presidents described their extended summit of about three hours at the Elmendorf-Richardson military base in Anchorage, Alaska, as “fruitful.” The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated its support for all diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the Russian-Ukrainian crisis peacefully and achieving peace between the two friendly countries. Riyadh supported the negotiation process between the US, Russia, and Ukraine by hosting trilateral talks earlier, with Kyiv, Washington, and Moscow expressing appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s role in bridging differences.
