President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi received Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser and Commander of the Royal Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of Special Operations of the kingdom. The official spokesperson for the Presidency stated that Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad and Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad conveyed to the President the greetings of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, praising the deep fraternal relations between the two countries and affirming the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields, while appreciating the President’s efforts in supporting regional security and stability.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, the official spokesperson, said the President welcomed the honored guests, expressing Egypt’s great appreciation for the policies and efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and confirming Egypt’s keenness to continue coordination and joint cooperation with Bahrain in all fields, reflecting the historically strong relations between the two countries and serving the interests and aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, especially in light of the challenges facing the region. The spokesperson added that the meeting addressed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, alongside reviewing developments in the Gaza Strip and the Egyptian efforts made in coordination with Qatar and the United States to achieve a calm and a ceasefire.

It was also stressed to expedite the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip without obstacles, to reject the displacement of Palestinians, and the importance of containing tensions in a number of regional countries to preserve regional security and stability.
