Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesperson for the Palestinian Presidency, stated that the visit of Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa and his meeting with Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, is a “very important signal and message,” confirming that Egyptian efforts have never stopped supporting the Palestinian people since 1948 until today.
He emphasized in television statements on the program “Ala Mas’ouliyati” with journalist Ahmed Moussa, broadcast on “Sada El Balad” channel, that “the Egyptian stance has never wavered since the era of President Gamal Abdel Nasser, President Hosni Mubarak, and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in supporting the Palestinian position.”
He added: “I can confirm that the official Egyptian position’s instructions to the Foreign Minister were: implement what the Palestinian people, the Palestine Liberation Organization, and its legitimate leadership want.”
He stressed that “Egypt does not need anyone’s testimony, and no one can insult Egypt, its history, and efforts,” confirming that “Egypt prevented displacement, prevented the liquidation of the Palestinian cause, and stood by the PLO in all difficult crises.”
He pointed out that the Palestinian people always rely on Egypt’s tremendous efforts, especially since Egypt, with its value, status, and political influence, can achieve many things for the benefit of the Palestinian people and the Arab nation, expressing “all appreciation and respect for President El-Sisi and the Egyptian people” for bearing this “great historical burden.”
Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa praised the Egyptian role led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, strongly supporting the Palestinian people and categorically rejecting the displacement plan, during a press conference held at the Rafah crossing in the presence of Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Major General Khaled Magawer, Governor of North Sinai.
Dr. Mohammad Mustafa visited Al-Arish General Hospital accompanied by Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, on Monday to inspect the condition of the Palestinian wounded at the hospital.
He expressed deep appreciation for the care provided to the Palestinian wounded in Egyptian hospitals, praising the efforts made to treat them and provide the necessary medical and surgical services.
