The official spokesperson for the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, confirmed the statements reported by Wafa.
The Palestinian Presidency called on the international community to halt the annexation and settlement measures carried out by the Israeli occupation, which flagrantly violate international laws and United Nations resolutions, stressing that these undermine the establishment of the Palestinian state and hinder achieving security and stability in the region.
In a statement today conveyed by Wafa, spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh urged urgent measures to prevent the implementation of these plans and to recognize the Palestinian state and its capital Jerusalem, emphasizing the necessity to end the occupation in accordance with international law.
Abu Rudeineh pointed out that the occupation seeks through these practices to undermine international efforts to stop the aggression against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and attacks in the West Bank, calling on the U.S. administration and the international community to take effective action to put an end to these violations.
