Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, met today, Monday, with Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting reviewed the execution status of ongoing development projects in several streets and areas of the governorate, particularly the development of Ibrahim Street in the Korba area of Heliopolis and several streets in the Attaba area of Mousky.
Dr. Manal Awad emphasized the ministry’s keenness to restore the urban and aesthetic appearance of several vital and service streets and areas in the capital, eliminating any negative or random phenomena to contribute to the comfort and safety of residents and visitors, and to facilitate traffic and vehicle movement.
Dr. Ibrahim Saber explained that the governorate closely monitors updates on the implementation of ongoing development projects in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Development and the Urban Coordination Authority, contributing to preserving the urban, architectural, and construction style, improving the visual image, and restoring the aesthetic appearance.
The Minister of Local Development also followed up with the Cairo Governor on the rates of implementation of development and service projects underway in the governorate, within the framework of directives from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the assignments of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly.
