On Monday, the White House released the comprehensive plan by US President Donald Trump aimed at ending the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

The plan includes 20 points, featuring a three-stage Israeli military withdrawal and temporary transitional governance of Gaza by a non-political Palestinian technocratic committee. Key points include:

    • Transforming Gaza into a deradicalized, terrorism-free zone posing no threat to neighbors.
    • Rebuilding Gaza for its long-suffering residents.
    • Immediate end to the war upon mutual agreement, with Israeli forces withdrawing to agreed lines to facilitate hostage release.
    • All hostages to be returned alive or deceased within 72 hours of Israel accepting the agreement.
    • Following hostage release, Israel to free 250 life-sentenced prisoners and 1700 detainees from Gaza, including all women and children detained since October 7, 2023.
    • General amnesty for Hamas members who commit to peaceful coexistence and disarmament, with safe passage for those wishing to leave Gaza.
    • Immediate and comprehensive aid to Gaza through the UN, Red Crescent, and other impartial international organizations.
    • Gaza to be governed temporarily by a Palestinian technocratic committee under the supervision of a new international transitional body called the “Peace Council,” chaired by President Trump and including former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair.
    • Implementation of the “Trump Economic Development Plan” to rebuild and revitalize Gaza, including a special economic zone with preferential tariffs.
    • Hamas and other factions to pledge non-participation in governance, with disarmament overseen by independent monitors and supported by an international buy-back and reintegration program.
    • Deployment of an international temporary stability force to train and support Palestinian police and secure borders, coordinated with Israel and Egypt.
    • Gradual Israeli military withdrawal linked to disarmament milestones, ensuring Gaza poses no threat to Israel or Egypt.
    • Interfaith dialogue initiatives to promote tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
    • Conditions to enable a credible path toward Palestinian self-determination and statehood as reconstruction and reforms progress.
    • US-led Israeli-Palestinian dialogue to agree on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous coexistence.

The plan emphasizes immediate war cessation, hostage return, reconstruction, disarmament, and transitional governance with international oversight to ensure peace and stability in Gaza.
