The Israeli army announced on Tuesday that its forces continue their military operations across the Gaza Strip, relying on intelligence from the Shin Bet and the army.
The army stated that its forces stationed in Gaza City spotted militants attempting to approach a military site on Monday, and they were targeted and killed.
According to the army statement, the air and ground forces carried out precise strikes in the city, resulting in the death of a Hamas combat group leader, another militant carrying an RPG launcher, and other militants who approached the forces posing a direct threat.
In the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli forces targeted several buildings and intelligence-related sites, confirming they dismantled them.
The statement noted that the Israeli Air Force conducted more than 160 airstrikes yesterday on what it described as terrorist targets, including weapons storage sites, observation points, and military infrastructure.
