Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, followed up on the efforts of the General Administration of Supply Investigations in Giza in conducting intensive campaigns to control markets and confront supply violations; to protect citizens’ rights and prevent tampering with subsidized goods.
The governor explained that the campaigns resulted in the following achievements:
- A flour sifter without a license was seized in Arab Abu Tama’a – Saf Center jurisdiction, inside which 26 bags of subsidized local flour and 50 bags of subsidized fine bran were found, totaling 2 tons of subsidized flour and bran provided by the state.
- Another unlicensed flour sifter was seized in Al-Aqwaz village – Saf Center, containing 20 bags of subsidized local flour and one bag of fine bran, totaling 1 ton of subsidized food commodities.
- A facility operating in the field of car oils without a license was seized in the Manshat Dahshur area – Badrashin Center, recycling used oils and filling them in containers with a fake brand (Star Oil). 10 tons of used oils and 400 containers of final oil product were seized, totaling 11 tons of adulterated oils. All seized materials and equipment were confiscated and legal procedures were taken.
The governor confirmed that the executive bodies, in cooperation with the supply investigations, continue to intensify their daily campaigns to control the markets and prevent the circulation of unknown source goods or subsidized goods outside the state’s system, stressing that no violations or tampering with citizens’ food will be allowed.
