Mostafa Zamzam, a member of the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Work, confirmed that the obstacles imposed by Israel to prevent humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip, whether through border closures or repeated inspections, will not hinder the arrival of Egyptian support to the people of Gaza. He explained during a phone interview on the program “Youm” broadcast on DMC channel that the Egyptian people, through all its institutions including the government, civil society, and cooperating international organizations, work around the clock to deliver aid to the Palestinians. He emphasized that the Palestinian cause represents a national security issue for Egypt and that supporting the brothers in Gaza is a top priority. Zamzam pointed out that direct instructions from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi confirm the necessity to continue sending aid without retreating in the face of any obstacles.

He noted that the convoys do not stop despite attempts to delay them, and vehicles may return multiple times due to inspections, but efforts continue until supplies reach those in need. He added that today’s convoy number 22 carries more than 700 tons of aid provided by the National Alliance, alongside similar quantities from the Egyptian Red Crescent, the House of Zakat and Charity, and many local institutions and civil society organizations that have not hesitated to support the Palestinian brothers.
