According to the statement, the funds are allocated for the production of launch platforms, the drones themselves, and radar stations.
The exact number of these drones was not specified, and the contract is expected to be completed by September 28, 2033.
This drone is available in two versions: one for engaging enemy drones and acting as a jamming device, and another for reconnaissance, surveillance, communications, as well as striking ground targets.
Last August, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced he had instructed the US military to establish a joint drone task force.
He noted that Washington hopes to “outperform its competitors” in this field.
In early June, Trump signed an executive order directing the Federal Aviation Administration to accelerate the development and testing of American technologies aimed at increasing drone production and exports.
