The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics revealed that the value of Egyptian exports to G20 countries increased by 11.1%, reaching 9 billion dollars during the first five months of 2025, compared to 8.1 billion dollars during the same period in 2024, an increase of about 900 million dollars.
According to the statistics, the value of Egyptian imports from G20 countries rose by 13.5% to reach 28.3 billion dollars during the first five months of 2025, compared to 24.9 billion dollars during the same period in 2024, an increase of 3.4 billion dollars.
The statistics also indicated that the value of trade exchange between Egypt and G20 countries rose by 12.9% to reach 37.3 billion dollars during the first five months of 2025, compared to 33 billion dollars during the same period in 2024, an increase of 4.3 billion dollars.
Italy topped the list of the top 10 G20 countries importing from Egypt during the first five months of 2025, with Egyptian exports to Italy reaching 1.6 billion dollars, followed by Turkey in second place with 1.4 billion dollars, then Saudi Arabia with 1.3 billion dollars, then the United States with 1.2 billion dollars, then the United Kingdom with 653.4 million dollars, then Russia with 504.8 million dollars, then Germany with 495.6 million dollars, then France with 464 million dollars, then Brazil with 462.5 million dollars, and finally India with 359 million dollars.
China topped the list of the top 10 G20 countries exporting to Egypt during the first five months of 2025, with Egyptian imports from China reaching 7.2 billion dollars, followed by the United States in second place with 4.5 billion dollars, then Saudi Arabia with 3.2 billion dollars, then Russia with 2.2 billion dollars, then Germany with 1.7 billion dollars, then Brazil with 1.6 billion dollars, then Turkey with 1.5 billion dollars, then India with 1.5 billion dollars, then Italy with 1.2 billion dollars, and finally Indonesia with 676.4 million dollars.
